Parallel to the Pasaje Roca is the Avenida Amazonas with its many restaurants, handicraft-shops, banks, markets etc. By foot you can visit the "Casa de la Cultura" Culture house, the theater and many galleries. It is only 10 minutes walk to the colonial part.
